In March 2009, X.J. received a important inquiry from Jarden Consumer Solution (JCS) . This inquiry is for a new selection on food steamer for Walmart USA. X.J. attached top importance to this inquiry and a detailed quotation was made in short time. In first round of discussion, X.J. was ranked one of the suppliers who had been selected to further discussion. Several samples of model XJ-92214/IV were sent to JCS for evaluation. In second communication, X.J. stood out from all competitors due to its large-scale produciton capacity, strong R&D and good quanlity control system. The first PO for 21,000 units was confirmed in late March.

In April, severl commercial and engineering meetings were hold to set up the blueprint of the whole project. Sampel testing and evaluation were done with strict requirements and the life test kept on going for hundred of cycles. From the early of May, pre-produciton was done with hundreds of units. The purpose is to check the quanlity and performance. Although X.J. had become a qualified supplier with JCS since many years ago, X.J. followed each step according to JCS’s instructions.

In end of May, mass production was started with daily output 2,000 units. As usual, in-process inspection and final random inspeciton were done regularly. X.J. finsidhed produciton smoothly and the shipment for 21,000 units was done in the early of June.


 

In following months, this product   XJ-92214/IV achieved great market feedback in market. In year 2009, JCS purchased around 166,000 units food steamers from X.J.. In year 2010, JCS purchased another 60,000 units food steamers.
